Generosity in Astrology is considered to be the function of the Sun. A strong and unafflicted Sun in a natal chart endows a native with this virtue. Again, Sun is the significator of father in a natal chart. Therefore, all the virtues of strong Sun in a natal chart are considered to be originated from the father of the native which means this virtue in the native owes its origin to the genetic contribution transmitted by the father thus explaining astrologically the output of this research work.

The main factor for the disease Cancer is, in terms of Medical Astrology, Rahu. Rahu acts in a number of ways relating to the house/sign linked with it by deposition or aspect and the planets related with it by (i) enhancing the corresponding functions (ii) causing obstructions to the expressions of the functions and (iii) ultimately leading to destruction. The disease Anaemia develops due to deficiency of red corpuscles in blood which involves the function of Mars which if weak or afflicted by malefics in the natal chart causes the development of Anaemia. Mars and Rahu are bitter enemies to each other in astrological sense. Therefore, if the drug used for Anaemia to increase the R.B.C content in blood, it may eventually lead to destruction of the blood cells giving rise to Leukemia provided the drug contains some ingredients related with Rahu in Astrology which therefore provides a support to the outcome of this research work.

In Medical Astrology, lung in a natal chart is judged from the 3^rd house which in the Zodiac is the sign Gemini, the dual airy sign ruled by Mercury. Smoking is signified by Rahu which if related with the 3^rd house/lord or the sign Gemini may lead to Lung Cancer. Sun is the origin of the terrestrial life and is the source of all immunities in the body. Sun and Rahu are considered as bitter enemies to each other according to astrological classification of planets. Therefore, exposure to Sun rays provides the body with more immunity ingredients and being the anti-dote for Rahu reduces the risk of Lung Cancer for persons having excessive smoking habits. Astrologically, in a natal chart, the 5^th house signifies the deeper layer of mind, the food habits as also the birth of child. 5^th house also signifies romance and physical pleasures of mating. Saturn is the chief significator of depression and other obstructive effects. The same is also caused by the Dragon’s tail i.e. Ketu and to some extent by the Dragon’s head i.e. Rahu. In the Zodiac, it is the sign Leo ruled by the Sun which is the origin of the terrestrial life. Therefore, if in a natal chart the 5^th house and/or its lord and/or the sign Leo and/or the Sun be afflicted by malefics like Saturn etc., the native will suffer from mental depression, anorexia etc. and this in turn will be reflected in the native’s sex life and the reproductive capacity. Thus, Astrology provides proper explanation of this research work.
