Spirituality protects against depression

In Astrology, planets are classified into two groups (1) Creative (2) Destructive. The creative group includes the Sun, strong Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Ketu. The destructive group includes Saturn, weak Moon, Mercury, Venus and Rahu. In the first group, Jupiter signifies humanity, wisdom, religion, universal love, spirituality, sacred senses etc. In the second group, Saturn although signifies higher sense of sensuality attained through sacrifices, self restriction etc. but apparently causes failures, miseries, poverty and resulting depression etc. So, Saturn reveals the negative side of life while Jupiter the positive side. Therefore, to overcome depression as the outcome of the negative feelings, positive senses are to be induced which is possible taking recourse the Jupiter in the form of spirituality? Thus, astrological support is provided for this research work.

In Astrology, red colour is the characteristic of the planet Mars. Mars is said to be the significator of activity and represents young male beings. Therefore, a young man when comes in contact with a lady dressed in red cloths is likely to identify himself with her and thereby he becomes attracted to that lady. Thus, the observations are supported in terms of Astrology.

In Astrology, breathing is judged from the 3^rd house in a natal chart which in the Zodiac is the sign Gemini, a mutable airy sign ruled by Mercury. Snoring is a function produced by the interruption of normal breathing. In terms of Astrology, the planet of interruption is Saturn. Saturn is also the significator of aged people and longevity. Longevity is judged in a natal chart from the 8^th house and also from the 8^th of the 8^th house i.e. the 3^rd house wherefrom is judged the function of snoring. 8^th house also signifies sleep and so is also the 3^rd house. Therefore, Saturn is a 3^rd house in a natal chart or in the sign Gemini is likely to cause snoring as also to enhance longevity. Thus, Astrology provides a successful explanation of the outcome of the research work.

In Astrology, love is judged from the 5^th house which in the Zodiac is the sign Leo ruled by the Sun, which is source of all life processes on the Earth. Creation is said to be the outward expression of love. Saturn is the planet signifying destruction, death, malice, hatred etc. i.e. its function is opposite to that of the Sun. Therefore, position of Saturn in the 5^th house of a natal chart or the sign Leo is likely to cause hatred instead of love or romance. Therefore, in the brain which is also signified by Sun, the position of hated should be linked with that of love but in the opposite shed. Therefore, the study of the research work is well supported by Astrology.
